Pharmaceutical companies depend on evidence generated from preclinical studies and clinical trials before medications are approved for public use.[8] Governments and healthcare systems rely on scientific evidence to develop healthcare policies, screening programs, vaccination strategies, and treatment guidelines. Despite its major advantages, Evidence-Based Medicine faces several challenges. The quality of evidence may vary between studies, and scientific recommendations can change as new evidence becomes available.[9] Publication bias, conflicts of interest, inadequate study design, and selective reporting may affect the reliability of certain findings.[10] Therefore, transparency, peer review, ethical standards, and continuous scientific evaluation remain essential for preserving the integrity of evidence-based practice.
